Vaults – “Vultures (Maya Jane Coles Remix)”
London based foursome, Vaults, popped onto the radar sometime last year with beautifully haunting and ethereal pop music. Their style is minimal, but somehow it manages to engulf you in lush, expansive and orchestral soundscapes topped by silky vocals. Everything about their music oozes cinematic aural gold. And speaking of aural gold, they have a new EP coming out titled ‘Vultures’ which will be dropping this Sunday November 23rd. For now we would like to pay special attention to this new remix for the title track that premiered over on i-D earlier today. It comes from Maya Jane Coles who has been a consistent source of brooding, deep house gems for quite some time now. This remix is no different. She envelopes the track in a sleek, slow burning groove that uses the vocals to their full potential. Before you know it your body is moving right along to the beat!
