IHOS Premiere: Jerry Bouthier – “Heart & Soul #10”
Our beloved Jerry Bouthier returns to IHOS with a brand spanking new edition of his ‘Heart & Soul’ mixes. This is lucky number 10 in the series and it’s the most emotive and heart felt yet! With each new volume Jerry wears his heart on his sleeve. He uses that keen and seamless mixing prowess to take us on a mellifluous journey through chic disco grooves, potent guitar licks and undying melodies. “As much as I love to rock the party and give people a lot of fun and good vibes when deejaying in clubs, my experience producing soundtracks for fashion shows has opened my mind to a different kind of mix narration, less geared towards dancefloor energy, more of a warm, feminine mood you can enjoy at home with your loved one(s).
As a result every three months I put together a mix of my latest faves (mostly new but with some occasional reworks of old tunes too), meaningful tracks with much emphasis on melody and feeling, and blend them seamlessly into one big, floaty wave of feel good sensations.
Like little films to listen to, the Heart & Soul series represents my exploration of grace, elegance, an invitation to discover new emotions and be seduced by charm and beauty.
I let the music speak for itself enticing sensual and moving sentiments to lose yourself in, fall in love to and groove to late at night as Heart & Soul is still about dancing, albeit in more intimate ways.
