Gigamesh – “Back 2 Life”
After about 6 months of no activity, Gigamesh returns, to burn up our speakers & dance floors alike, with a bangin’ new single appropriately dubbed “Back 2 Life.” The vocals are taken from a, classic little club, Soul II Soul track from back in 1989. Gigamesh plays on that sexy R&B flavor of the original by injecting his own searing synth melody. The beginning is ethereal, and beautiful – with a soothing ebb and flow rhythm -typical of that of ocean waves. Then his synthscapes flood the track with a killer dance groove.
And with this gem also comes news of his upcoming album which we will be dropping sometime next year. Gigamesh is definitely back folks! Enjoy the ride.
