Zimmer – “Escape (ft. Emilie Adams)”
Here goes another item to add to our list of most anticipated releases of 2015! It appears that our favorite horizontal disco purveyor, Zimmer, has an upcoming EP called ‘Coming Of Age’ brewing and we assume that it will drop sometime in July (hopefully). And he has also leaked one of the singles off this four track release titled “Escape.” The track counts on the stunning Norwegian songbird Emilie Adams who delivers some of the tracks more emotive moments. This is exactly how to make a lasting impression with an introduction to a new release.
This track is gorgeous. It’s soft and immersive with low ambient tones and Emilie’s voice setting the mood right from the beginning. Then that eargasmic piano melody takes control of the track leading us up to that euphoric drop. There’s something a bit primal about this track, it could be Emilie’s howls or some of those awesome sounds that register in our minds as something you might hear outdoors. Any way you choose to interpret it, we can all agree that this track takes us somewhere magical.
