Youandewan – “Waiting For L”
As we close out the year we find ourselves revisiting some of our favorites of the year. Back in October the AUS Music crew delivered the debut album from Berlin via Yorkshire house producer Youandewan. And though we’ve only heard a few tracks from him before, they were enough to make him memorable so we were definitely curious about what direction his album would take. The result is something melancholic, pensive and heady that is a perfect example of the type of house music you enjoy at home, in your car or while working on a project. “Waiting For L” is a great example of how stellar this album is. Lush soundscapes, poignant chords, expansive synths and solid percussion. Everything we need to get the day started.
