Viceroy – “The Life ft. Penguin Prison (Two Can Remix)”
Last month Viceroy unleashed a bumpin’ disco influenced summer anthem called “The Life.” It featured charming vocals from NYC’s Penguin Prison that really sold it for us.
A few moments ago a rising Melbourne based duo, going by the moniker Two Can, served up a slower, cooler, rendition of the original. It serves us alternating shifts in tempo that collide, creating post dub step thumps that could just as easily be served anywhere beyond the dance floor. Two Can play with the stems beautifully, by slowing everything down so that we can get a better appreciation of each separate element. Big kudos to Two Can for this one. Keep up the good work guys!
