Apparently school is back in session because VIVa label boss, Steve Lawler, has just laid it down for us in this new release simply titled ‘House Record.’ The release dropped today via the formidable Hot Creations imprint and it is peak hour house at its finest! Within these two bangers lies a history lesson on 80’s house music. The simplicity is the best part about it. The title track carries a simple, but very effective dance groove topped with a bumpin’ bassline. Next up is a saucy little number that goes by the name “City Nights” and it continues on that old school house ride with explosive bass and a crazy addictive dance rhythm. Steve clearly made these for you to sweat it out all night long at a crowded warehouse party, so don’t disappoint him. Enjoy!
