Shura – “White Light”
There’s something really alluring about London based singer, songwriter and producer Shura. Her music falls into the spectrum of electro-pop, but she injects various styles (R&B, synthpop, indie) to form her own unique sound. Apart from her stellar and hypnotic vocals, the visuals that accompany many of her songs tell some beautiful stories.
One of her latest music videos came out yesterday for her song “White Light.” The track is soft and emotive with a funky groove that makes you want to find that special someone to dance with. This is lush, heartfelt, emotive electro-pop reminiscent of the 80s where everyone found comfort and release on the dance floor. The video stars her twin brother as one half of a pair of lovers that go on a journey to reconnect.
