Sapele – “Looking At You”
Everything from the meaning behind his name to the soundwaves that he is producing has us hooked. We’re talking about Swedish burgeoning talent Sapele. His name is taken from the African hardwood tree that is used to make acoustic instruments. His sophisticated aural palette contains traces of R&B, hip hop, soulful house and jazz which are all apparent in his debut single “Looking At You.” Everything about this track reads as seductive dance floor anthem best used deep into the night.
