Ana-Tole, straight outta London, is not just a female producer but one that stands out against the grain. From her bio:
From the ether of the London fog, comes an invitation. An androgynous yet sexy figure calls you closer. Led to a cool dark space, subterranean and not of this time, perhaps, slightly ahead of this time, you take a seat as this person takes the stage and begins to play for you. The military strength of their appearance stands in direct contradiction of the raw emotional music they make. Ensconced in the warm spaciousness of their music, you find yourself set adrift, floating along a sort of cinematic odyssey this curious figure creates. This is what it is to hear the music of Ana-Tole.
From her recent projects, she’s worked with Jonah Christian making ‘Turn‘ (which got featured on a Vogue online fashion film). Now, she has generated those melodic and melancholic elements to this Rudimental ‘flip’. Indeed, it’s a flip–taking the original and adding sultry rnb components. The remix begins with a symphony prepping MNEK’s sweltering vocals and then leading us into his tenacious duet with the soulful Sinead Harnett, whose voice is perfectly paired with that feminine touch.
