Pompeya – Does (The Twelves Remix)”
It’s been quite a while since we last heard from our all time favorite Brazilian disco duo, The Twelves. They tend to lay low and only come up for air when they’ve got a solid reason breathe. The last time we caught glimpse of the guys was this past summer, in July, at the Constellation Room (Santa Ana) – which by the way was on the same bill as the People Under the Stairs. Not sure if the booker knew what he or she was doing, but it ended up working out just barely. If you’re reading this, and happen to be booking The Twelves in So Cal next time they swing by, we’d recommend someplace like the El Rey Theatre – with a more cohesive opener.
With that being said, the guys are back with a funk-tastic remix of Pompeya‘s “Does” – frankly, a match made in heaven. Now, dance.
