Parisian duo Paradis is coming out with a new EP in January called ‘Couleurs Primaires’ which will include one of our favorite tracks from them titled “Sur Une Chanson En Français.” It packs enough seduction to make you melt in your seat. And you don’t really know whether to get up and sway ever-so-gently to the music or sit back with some headphones and fade into your mind. Either way you chose to enjoy this track just make sure you turn it up enough to feel every single texture in these aural waves.
The song uses hazy/cosmic synths in the most appealing way by using them as subtle chimes that never overpower the main melody. Flawless vocals caress the eardrums while jazzy inflections fan the flames a little bit higher. It’s an effortless and sophisticated anthem for those of you awake in the hazy hours before dawn. Above you can find the new video that goes with the track directed by Daniel Brereton. It shows the story of a woman reminiscing on her youth and her first taste of nightlife. The video shows beautiful views of the city both at night and during the day and it manages to capture the essence of what draws us to city life.
