Noir & Caitlin – “Black (Thomas Schumacher Remix)”
Deep in the Danish city of Aalborg resides René Kristensen, the face behind the mighty Noir moniker. The turbulent and alluring soundwaves he is known to create leave little to be desired and come with a dark and sinister aura that is right up our alley. We are really looking forward to Noir’s upcoming debut album and while he puts the last finishing touches on this 12 track release we get a taste of what’s to come with a single simply called “Black.” The track features haunting and entrancing vocals from Caitlin and our first introduction to it comes with a menacing remix from Thomas Schumacher.
The track opens with Caitlin’s siren-like vocals paired with a dark synth melody ebbing and flowing ever-so-slowly. It progressively builds into a deep tech house banger. Noir’s main objective with this album is to explore the various facets of electronica and it’s safe to say that he completed his mission. The last two minutes of this track left us salivating for more. Hit play and see for yourselves.
