Nick Garcia – “Honeybees (Original Mix)”
The Los Angeles Music Project, or LAMP, crew dropped the second iteration of their ‘Spectrums’ compilation. The line up 9 top notch tracks representing some of the most promising electronic producers on the scene including Le Monkey, Birdee, MR PUZL, Damont Steele and more. The one that caught our interest comes from DC based producer and DJ, Nick Garcia, as he joins the compilation for the second time serving up some refreshing left-field soundscapes. He even pulls out his guitar to add a layer of organic instrumentals to his affinity of synths. Here’s a bit more about the compilation for those who aren’t in the loop:
SPECTRUMS is a compilation series from LAMP focusing on artists’ who are re-envisioning some of their favorite music, exploring the genres that inspire them, and pushing the boundaries of their creativity with sounds. Periodically, LAMP will select tracks that span multiple genres across the spectrum of electronically produced music and showcase them in this compilation series.
