Low Island – “In Person”
What seems like a five day storm has descended upon us here in Los Angeles, but an email that hit our inbox earlier contained this slinky new track from UK electronic based band Low Island, and it’s like we’ve forgotten all about it. If we’re being completely honest, this track reminds us of earlier Hot Chip with a tinge of Friendly Fires, which isn’t a bad thing AT ALL. Curious to see if the guys will be taking this direction with their all of their new music-a move that would feel a stray from the more emotive sound of their earlier catalog. I guess we’ll just have to wait to find out. It also looks like the guys have some live dates planned in the UK if you’re interested in seeing them “in person”. 😉 Catch the dates after the jump.
