Laurence Guy – “Stray”
We have another stellar release to look forward to in the next few days. Laurence Guy‘s debut album, ‘Saw You For The First Time,’ will be dropping July 16th thanks to the formidable Church imprint. Last week the folks at Mixmag premiered the title track off the album and yesterday the label shared another track called “Stray.” It’s minimal, jazzy, dynamic instrumentals and undulating synth layers create a night owl anthem that’s perfect for those nights when you don’t want to lose the inspiration and you have to stay up a bit longer. The dissonant melody is super refreshing and totally breaks down the commonplace formula for house music. Really looking forward to this release!
