Lane 8‘s new EP “The One“ finally dropped today and we couldn’t be more satisfied. We heard both tracks back on his #ABGT Guest Mix from a couple of weeks ago, but listening to them again without any distractions is a real treat. We can hear every subtle off-beat, the soft and hypnotic vocals from Patrick Baker, arpeggiating chimes that lead into the grumbling bassline that is juxtaposed with light layered chords. The B-side continues that breathtaking build-up with added tambourine action, bubbling chords and beautiful vocals from Lucy Stone. All we want to do is hop into our cars and drive for hours.
