Kosmetique – “Stella Eximius”
We coined a term a few years back called “after all” music. It was created to describe the type of music heard in the credits of your favorite 80s music – a little bit nostalgic, optimistic, reflective and comforting. Kosmetique has followed up “Palace Gates” with a track that would very much fit this description. In fact they used “Stella Eximius” to roll the credits for their music video, and can’t describe how perfect it was and how perfect it makes their entire EP. It pulls at our retro-heart strings in the most perfect way and makes us really want to watch Daft Punk‘s “Digital Love” music video… but that’s besides the point.
