Kidnap – “Aurora”
With a new moniker comes the reignited vision for a more intentional and mature sound from London producer Kidnap, formerly known as “Kidnap Kid.” Last year he dropped the ‘kid’ from his stage name and donned a new identity that explores a rad uplifting, captivating and melodic direction with his music as well as his own journey of personal growth. He’s getting ready to drop the second EP with the new moniker titled ‘Ashes’ on his label Birds That Fly and, ahead of the release, the folks over at DJ Mag premiered the stunner known as “Aurora” earlier today. It’s lush, melodic, deeply emotive and effervescent. His use of synths on this track are masterful to say the least.
