Kahwe – “Sit Back + Deeper Love”
Kahwe is the quickly rising project of Leeds based producer Joe Cowie. His first EP on Anjunadeep garnered him plenty of attention on the blogosphere at the beginning of last year and now he returns to the label to release his second EP titled “Sit Back”. The ‘Sit Back’ EP comes with 3 new originals that sport his eargasmic blend of retro tinged house and killer grooves capable of making any body move.
The title track brings some of that deep bass that we can’t resist on top of a bangin’ dance melody that is pure aural gold. Meanwhile, the second track, “Deeper Love”, does just what it’s title suggests with a slightly more minimal approach than the title track. It is mostly made up of thunderous bass, ghost vocals, and soothing chimes. We have yet to get a taste of the final track.
