Jupiter – “Chip”
There’s nothing like good old sweet nostalgia – except maybe when it’s remastered and re-released nostalgia. That’s exactly what we got from Jupiter‘s latest release last week. The French duo re-released a remastered version of the second track they ever wrote – their 2008 track “Chip”, which had only ever been heard previously in mixes and on MySpace (if you were connected with them back then). The effort is part of a larger release – ‘Hey There’ – which is set for an April 30th release date, described as “a future compilation of unreleased/rarities.” We really hope this isn’t just a trip back where the band had left off, and that perhaps it’ll inspire new music and return to that retro electro inspired disco sound we all know in love. In the mean time, we’ll be hitting the replay button and living in the present moment.
