Joshua Moriarty – “War Is Over”
The debut solo album from Joshua Moriarty (of Miami Horror fame) is out now. It’s called ‘War Is Over‘ and it clocks in with 8 soulful, melodic, sensual and blissed out tracks. The sound ranges from electronic, disco, funk, pop, indie rock, even psychedelic at times and with a keen awareness of ambient. There are moments that remind us of Kasabian, Penguin Prison and Zoé. He has a golden touch for building captivating melodies. One of our favorites is definitely “All I Want Is You” with all its melancholic disco dream glory.
