John Mayer – “Moving On And Getting Over (Cherokee Remix)”
One of John Mayer‘s latest songs, “Moving On And Getting Over,” gets the golden touch from Cherokee. The track is lifted from Mayer’s new album, ‘The Search For Everything,’ which is getting a release in installments with the first four tracks already out. Mayer’s original is a heart-tugging breakup anthem with a slow burning tempo that culminates in an all out jam session leaving things on an uplifting note. Cherokee takes the soulful melody from the original as a starting place and builds a gorgeous disco dream that is a total ode to summer and bumps up the bass. The bass line is absolutely killer here! Cherokee definitely knows how to add that extra oomph to make the dance floor go wild.
