Jody Wisternoff – “The Bridge feat. Sian Evans”
From what him and James Grant have put together for Anjunadeep compilations, it’s not surprising that Jody Wisternoff would come out with a majestic new single. The Anjunadeep family member returns to his usual grind with a stunning little number called “The Bridge” which dropped on Monday via the taste making label. Aurally, the track is definitely on another level with spacious, melodic and cinematic overtones that left us completely hypnotized. Here is how the label described the track:
“‘The Bridge’ is a Wisternoff classic, fusing lush melodic arrangements with dancefloor grooves, with a subtle touch of old school UK sound thrown in for good measure”
They completely hit the nail on the head. This track is inescapably beautiful and highly euphoric. Sian Evans’ angelic vocals take it that much higher. The bass is just enough for dancers to sink their teeth into. This is exactly what we needed to hear from Jody this year. He definitely kicked off his 2015 releases on the right foot.
