JBAG – “Through Blue EP (feat. Kamp!)”
One of our favorite London duos, JBAG composed of the one-and-only Jerry Bouthier and Andrea Gorgerino, dropped an incredible new EP titled “Through Blue” on Monday via Jerry’s Continental Records imprint. The title track features charming vocals from the lead singer of Kamp!, Tomek Szpaderski. The duo’s self-described “baleariscopop” stylings are a force to be reckoned with. There is nothing quite as melancholic and uplifting at the same time and not to mention extremely seductive.
As if the title track wasn’t enough, the duo also lines up some eargasmic remixes from Holmes Price, Jay Lamar & Jesse Oliver and Venice Beach. Holmes tips the scale more on the disco side with his remix that results in a tropical tinged gem. Jay and Jesse provide a darker, late-night groove that oozes sex appeal while Venice Beach rounds out the EP with a rad funk/disco banger. These are definite must-haves for the summer folks!
