jackLNDN – “Rain EP”

jackLNDN returns with a brand new EP titled “Rain” which dropped last week. He takes us in a completely new direction with this three track EP. He shows us a brand new side to his sound and we’re totally here for it. Usually when we think of ‘rain’ we think cleansing, refreshing and raw and that’s exactly what we get with these three tracks. First up is “Stargazer” with this effervescent cosmic atmosphere contrasted by a deep electro bassline and groove. His keen ear for melody is never far behind. Next up is “Ignis” with gorgeous percussion coming at you from all angles and a bit of that jackLNDN soul we’ve come to love. Rounding out the EP is the title track serving up a solid downtempo dance groove that hits just like rainfall in the city.
