IHOS Premiere: YesYou – “6/20 Vol. 003”
We’re always on the lookout for mixes that can hold our attention the whole way through and transport us to realms of silky aural waves. Well, it looks like we just found a concise and resonant mix from the dance/indie/R&B duo known as YesYou. Jono & Gav are the faces behind the project and together they have curated a sonically delectable 20 minute mix composed of 6 mellifluous gems that have been beaming from the duo’s speakers lately. Each mix will be a “brief nod to the new wave of artists that are currently inspiring and influencing the duo’s songwriting in some form or another.” Here’s what the duo had to say about the series:
“We’re digging on the internet most days for artist to work with so we thought we’d start to share some stuff we come across, artists we really dig. We’ll be working one every month to give an insight into what makes us… us.”

Sunni (Colon) – “Way You Talk About Me” – Straight up the track hits you with such a solid groove. Sunni’s vocal hits everything right.
Lucas Chambon – “Chimera” – We’re such suckers for a solid phrase repeated as much as possible haha.
Dune x Crayon – “Lazy” – Sooooo into the guitar in this. The vocal just sits and lets the music do its thing.
BOYBOY – “None Of Your Love” – I think its the vocal that reminds us of something… Thinking the early 2000’s… Can’t really put our finger on.
REL – “Pullups”– Everything about this is too much. Dat groooovee.
Total – “Kissing You (Trackademicks Remix)” – Late 90’s vibe with a bouncey beat. Gets us every time. No doubt.
