IHOS Premiere: Sondrio – “Lost Time”
It was back in 2014 when we were impressed by a talented newcomer going by the moniker of Sondrio, who did a stellar remix for Midnight Pool Party. And we’ve been hooked ever since! Now with a slew of killer releases under his belt, Sondrio graces our site once again to premiere a sumptuous track lifted off his forthcoming ‘Night Music II’ EP slated to drop this Friday, June 30th! The track is called “Lost Time” and its a stellar, pulsing peak hour track that pays close attention to a potent combination of Balearic-esque rhythmics, arpeggiating synth layers and a solid tempo to get the heart racing. Here’s a bit about the track:
“Lost Time closes the EP, a track written before SONDRIO had another grueling shift at his job with a monotonous Australian phone company. The music was inspired by the recent visits of Dutch producers FOUK and NACHTBRAKER.”
He even inserts that cheeky vintage sample of a woman speaking about careers towards the end of the track. We’re definitely vibing with this exploration into deeper house soundscapes. You’ll definitely want to pay attention to the last couple of minutes on the track for a brilliant conclusion. Get your fill after the jump!
