Ice Choir – “Pure Holiday”
You may recognize Kurt Feldman as being the former Pains of Being Pure at Heart drummer – but he didn’t leave in vain. Feldman, who’s musical background also includes, The Depreciation Guild, has been cooking up something pretty special. His newest project, The Ice Choir, has dropped a Christmas track via Cascine.
The result is a beautiful electronic ballad – treading lightly on guilty pleasure territory, but that’s just Feldman’s style – and if you can’t appreciate it, you’re probably reading the wrong blog. Don’t pass up this perfectly vintage-modern track.
