Flume – “Never Be Like You ft. Kai (Disclosure Remix)”
Yesterday, both Flume and Disclosure set fire to the internet by simply posting the picture above. A simple action with very real connotations for fans. Everyone knew that a remix was coming and today it has officially landed via Flume’s soundcloud! According to Flume, two and a half years ago he remixed one of Disclosure’s tracks (as if we forgot) and now the duo returns the favor. It starts off minimally and innocent with Kai‘s vocals slowly bubbling to the surface subsequently lifted by spacey, arpeggiating synths. Then that swinging bassline chimes in to deliver the final blow to get your body going. The duo always knows how to flirt with banging club track beats and smooth R&B tinged breaks. Stream it below.
