Dusky – “Parakeet Feet”
Since the beginning of last month UK techno/house wizards Dusky have been leaking jams on jams from their forthcoming ‘Ordinary World‘ EP. So far we’ve heard two powerfully potent tracks and with yesterday’s leak we can now make that three! “Parakeet Feet” is six plus minute long onslaught of heavy techno sprinkled with melodic breakdowns and a huge euphoric festival vibe coursing through it. This is definitely one to be enjoyed amidst a crowd during sunset, but you can feel the effect just fine with a pair of headphones and the volume at max capacity! Here is what the duo had to say about the track:
“Techno in all its forms has always featured strongly throughout our DJ sets – as well as productions – and ‘Parakeet Feet’ is our homage to the big, rolling festival variants of the sound. There’s definitely a melodic touch to the breakdown, as with a lot of our tracks, but the overall effect we aimed for was one of intensity and energy”
