Deadmau5 – “I Remember (Shiba San Remix)”
If you asked anyone the name of an iconic EDM song, a lot of people would probably throw out “I Remember,” that haunting and ethereal bit of progressive house magic from Deadmau5 and Kaskade. The ebb and flow of that melody, epic builds and powerful bass paired with the sultry and flawless vocals from Haley Gibby made for one truly unforgettable aural gem.
Last week the talented Parisian producer Shiba San decided to share his own rendition of the iconic track. He changes the original melody for a raunchy and seductive deep house groove. The vocals still chime in at all the perfect moments to remind us of the original track. That searing low end bassline transforms the track into something much more intimate and made for the purpose of shattering dance floors while the original had more expansive and ethereal qualities to it. Overall the Shiba San version is one to be heavily enjoyed on a crowded club dance floor.
