Cinnamon Chasers – ‘The Archives’
British producer Russ Davies is the genius behind Cinnamon Chasers and most recently also Abakus. We first fell in love with his sound design abilities back in 2010- two years after the formation of the project. His sound has always been dreamy and heartfelt. Perhaps the fact that he is the son of Dave Davies (of The Kinks) played a big roll in the development of his talent. Perhaps it did not.
Earlier today we were really glad to hear he had found an old drive of music that never saw the day of light -music he thought he had lost forever. He released 4 volumes of it on Bandcamp and we encourage you with every ounce of our being to download at list Volume One and enjoy it. Maybe start with “Hurts Too Much To Be Apart” and let it play.
