Chet Faker – “1998”
Melbourne super talent, Chet Faker, proves once again why he holds a permanent spot on our radar. We can’t get over how amazing his second single “1998” is. It comes off his debut album “Built On Glass” which is out now via Future Classic and Downtown Records. He knows how to take you on a ride through eargasmic, out of this world sounds. He starts off with an eerie little melody, steady drum beat and wailing vocals that culminate in a strong chord assault. Then it all goes off once the deep bass and electronic melody kick in. He has such a raw and fresh vibe in his music that we can’t help but go weak at the knees.
Raw, deep, emotive, future sounds coming off this album. Big congrats to Chet on this one.
