Bufi – “Salvaje EP”
Our favorite Mexico based producer is back with an explosive new release named “Salvaje EP”. We have been following Bufi for quite some time now and he has never let us down, so when we heard that he was putting out an EP through one of our favorite labels, Discotexas, we kinda lost it (in a very good way).
We really can’t pinpoint a stand-out track on this EP because all three tracks are fucking amazing! Up first is the title track that serves up thick booming bass with a male voice repeating “Soy Salvaje” (“I am Wild”) over arpeggiating pad work.
Next is “I Call You”, a track that is “an ironic remark about the terrible cell phone service we have in Mexico” as well as a lush disco house treatment with powerful chords leading into a hip-shaking groove that will have you running for the dancefloor. Finally, “Papers” is darker and more erratic and leaning on the deep house side of the spectrum. This is some of his best work yet! Sink your teeth into this EP below and buy it over on Beatport.
