Bomba Estereo – “Mar (Lo Que Siento) + Algo Esta Cambiando (Jamie Prado Remixes)”
L.A. talent Jamie Prado lights up our speakers once again with a remix bundle of two Bomba Estereo tracks. The Bogotá, Colombia based group is a powerhouse in their own realm of rhythmic electronica. It was pretty surprising to see that Jamie was going to put a deep house spin on “Mar (Lo Que Siento)” which is a beautiful instrumental feel-good song that sounds great as is. But he definitely pulled it off! Jamie’s rendition enhances and elevates that melodic acoustic treatment of the original while grounding the airy tones with solid bass stabs.
“Algo Esta Cambiando” already had a foot in the door with atmospheric synths and rump-shaking, brooding bass. It’s one of the standout tracks off their album ‘Amanecer’ and also an excellent choice for Jamie to tackle. He bumps up the tempo, adds lighter arpeggiating synths and completely takes it to peak hour deep house territory. Stellar remixes here folks. Kudos to Jamie for these gifts!
