Beth Ditto x The Shoes – “Cerrone’s Supernature”
The Paris and London based label Because Music is gearing up to drop a scorching album on December 1st that is “The Best of Cerrone Productions.” Cerrone was one of the most influential disco producers of the 70’s and 80’s who put out some amazing tracks including “Love In C Minor” and “Supernature.” Included in this ‘Best of’ album will be this delectable version of “Supernature” by Beth Ditto and The Shoes.
Beth’s powerful vocals drench the scene in emotion and soul while The Shoes’ production adds a bass heavy disco tinged vibe. They use subtle elements of the original anthem and enhance them to make a more lasting impression with orchestral, melodic cuts. It’s a perfect revival of this classic.
