London producer Ben Macklin was a very pleasant surprise for us this year when we stumbled onto his track “It’s Over” back in May. And seeing how good his music is we really wonder why it took so long for us to find him, but now that we know about him we are definitely keeping a close watch on his progress.
A few hours ago Ben shared his latest single titled “Dare” that features those same irresistible and sultry vocals from Emma Brammer (also featured on “It’s Over”). A touch of nu disco, soul and tropical flairs make for a sun-kissed ode to the end of summer that could still be used year-round here in SoCal because–let’s face it–summer never really dies.
