Axwell /\ Ingrosso – “Something New (Amtrac Remix)”
One of our favorites is back with a brand new remix that is sure to send chills up and down your body. That’s right folks, we’re talking about the undeniably talented Amtrac. This time he lends his remixing prowess to the duo Axwell /\ Ingrosso, who formerly made up two-thirds of the trio Swedish House Mafia. The original is drenched in a feel-good festival energy that is really f*cking catchy. Don’t get us wrong, the original definitely has that big open-air sound we love to hear at festivals, but this remix just hits all the right spots for us.
He begins by pitching down the vocals and slowing down the tempo in the intro. Everything sounds heavier, brooding and mysterious. Then the melody starts kicking in with bubbling pads and a searing bass pulsing throughout. His keen ear for deep grooves leaves us completely floored. We can’t seem to stop hitting that replay button. This is one you absolutely must hear with the volume at full blast. This is deep house at its finest. Enjoy it down below.
