Acid Washed – “Detroit, Mon Amour”
We’ve been in the mood for something retro tinged, dark and danceable. Paris/Berlin based duo Acid Washed serve up an anthem with a theatrical flair. Sweeping orchestral tones make up the intro as the potent synth groove comes into the fray. Taking inspiration from the roots of club culture, the duo lays out music that is nostalgic and fresh at the same time. This is the first original that they’re released in a while which they made to celebrate the release of a book by their photographer friend, Keffer.
