Above & Beyond – “Sticky Fingers (Lane 8 Remix)”
Lane 8 presents his exquisite remix for electronic music pioneers, Above & Beyond, who have released the single along with two remixes from Lane 8 and Om Unit via their label Anjunabeats. Right from the beginning we are lured in with Alex Vargas’ beautiful vocals and a soft, warm drum and chiming pad combo. The bass comes in and our heartbeats try to match the pace as our minds try to wrap themselves around the harmony of all these elements.
That melody just lodges itself in your mind for a good while after it’s over and, to be honest, we don’t mind hearing it all day. Pete Tong definitely hit the nail on the head by calling him a ‘future star’ because this remix is fucking beautiful. The release is available to buy over at Beatport or iTunes.
