Saint Motel – “My Type (Remixes)”
There’s a couple of remixes going around the blogosphere for Saint Motel‘s “My Type” that have been stuck in our heads for the last couple of days. The first standout for us is from DC based up-and-comer Eau Claire and her sun-kissed, pop-glazed rendition of the original. She classifies her genre as “somewhere between nu disco and house; the feel good stuff” and we couldn’t agree more. This is road trip music material. Next up is our favorite take on the original from disco mavens Kraak & Smaak who lay down the law with a funky disco laden gem. This remix is built for those crowded, sweaty dance floors! Try to resist getting up on your feet and getting down. We dare you.
