Royksopp & Robyn – “Monument (Mark E Remix)”
Monday saw the release of the remix bundle for Royksopp & Robyn‘s banger “Monument”. The folks over at THUMP got their hands on the full stream of Mark E‘s stellar remix. The Birmingham producer/DJ brings a cool, calculated and minimal approach to the original. With the vocals pretty much intact, he allowed himself plenty of room to develop a slow burning beat that employs a lot of restraint, but doesn’t take away from a soft dance element. There’s something really robotic and algorithmic about it that we love. Really impressive stuff here from Mark E. Enjoy it down below and grab the remix bundle here.
