Max Manie – “The Ocean EP”
It looks like Crosswalk Records is looking to kick things off with a bang this year. They have already lined up a stunning new release from up-and-coming house stalwart, Max Manie. This young talent has been quickly rising through the ranks with a stellar little banger titled “Sunday” which he released two years ago and also marked the debut release for Crosswalk.
Since then he has been garnering plenty of attention and now he returns to the rising imprint to drop a new EP simply known as ‘The Ocean EP.‘ This two track deep titan is soaking in anthemic deep house soundwaves. Steady piano drenched beats ebb and flow seamlessly with haunting vocals in the title track while “Claudius” incorporates lyrical elements from a Marvin Gaye original and has a beautiful message behind it.
