“Loud Places” is just one of those tracks that gets better with each hit of the replay button. Every time you listen to this Jamie xx original it’s like you can’t help but sit back, close your eyes and get lost in your head. We have a hard time fathoming that this track could be edited or remixed. That is until yesterday when we stumbled upon a soulful, slow burning and sultry edit from Montreal based producer Eekkoo, a.k.a Jonathan Doyon. The edit takes it even deeper and more minimal, while still incorporating Romy’s heart-tugging vocals. Cool down with this take on “Loud Places” below.
