Davidian – “Could Never feat. Eli & Fur (Minimix)”

Nottingham, England sensation David Whitfield, a.k.a Davidian, has certainly been having a big year! He hit the ground running with a debut What I Want EP being put out by the legendary Kitsuné Maison back in May and now he is gearing up for a second release coming out via Kitsuné on October 6th. This 22 year old producer is making waves in all the right places. The new EP is dubbed Could Never and features English duo Eli & Fur on vocals. The title track brings some of that “hybrid house” flavor that he is quickly becoming notorious for. Piercing chord progressions, echoing vocals and pulsating beat make this gem a sure hit on dance floors worldwide!

The EP also counts on some remix aide from three producers “making their first appearance on the label”. First up is a remix from J£zus Million who gives the track a glossy electronic sheen complete with funky, broken beat textures and slightly more mechanical overtones. Vague Recollection delivers a smoother progressive house rendition with deep and dark synth stabs paired with bouncing bass and chopped up vocals that sound way better at night. And rounding out the EP is Artifact with a beautifully lush and rhythmic take on the original. This EP is going to be out of this world! Davidian is definitely one to watch out for folks. Below get a taste of the EP with a short minimix courtesy of Kitsuné.
