Todd Terje – “Jungelknugen (Remixes)”
These two renditions of Todd Terje‘s forthcoming track “Jungelknugen” are the only hints we have as to how the original will sound. They come out ahead of the original, which is pretty cool and a little unorthodox, but we are definitely here for it. Especially when the remixers are Four Tet and Prins Thomas! Four Tet hits us with a flurry of synth levels syncopating into a glorious bass heavy groove. The cosmic vibe is strong with this one. And then there’s the Prins Thomas version that brings some potent drums along with a killer electro bass line. The track eventually melts into a rad mesh of funk, electro and jazzy instrumentals.
