Sondrio – “Trinidad (Original + Shaolin Remix)”
We first came across the funky and melodic house stylings of Luke Tkalcevic with that stunning remix for Midnight Pool Party a few months back. But Luke, a.k.a Sondrio, has been going strong since 2012. Every now and then he dishes out some delectable freebies like this track titled “Trinidad”, a funk filled number with resonating chords and shuffling beat. It carries a slightly retro funk/space vibe which we are definitely digging. Along with the original comes a deep, electronic remix from Shaolin that cuts out a lot of that retro funk vibe from the original and drags it through a contemporary house filter. Seems like Australia continues to reign supreme with exciting new talent. Both are well worth the listen so hit the play button multiple times below.
