Shur-i-kan – “My Love EP”
It is pretty safe to say that Anjunadeep filled up our playlists last year. With hit after hit coming from them it is no wonder that they kick off their new releases for the year with a lush and brooding anthem EP titled ‘My Love’ from deep house wiz Shur-i-kan. He really outdid himself this time with these two tracks.
The first is the lead single premiered by the BBC Radio 1 folks. “My Love” buries itself deep into your memory with rich expansive synths opening up the atmosphere while a solid, grounded bass and drum onslaught adds that extra oomph. We can only imagine how epic this would sound live. It’s the kind of open air euphoria that music lovers resonate with.
Next up is “Feel Free” with a stunning melody that is guaranteed to light up the dance floor. The tempo has just enough speed to keep dancers working up a sweat and it’s also relaxed enough to listen to on a night drive.
