RÜFÜS – “Like An Animal (Isaac Tichauer Remix)”
We can’t really see RÜFÜS ever really being out of our top 10 list of artists . The way their emotive tunes can score the perfect road-trip soundtracks or star among dance floor scorchers caught our attention from the very beginning. Their work has consistently gotten better and better ever since. Isaac Tichauer has taken Du Sol’s “Like an Animal” and added a delightful sedative layer. His delicate hand fits satisfyingly well with Du Sol’s vocals. The track is like candy. Tichauer told Thump: “I wanted to produce a vocal version of the original versus a club mix” …”When I listened to the vocals, they had soft, sweet moments and then big moments in the chorus, so I designed the sounds in the same way, blending bell and chime samples with heavier distorted sounds from my Poly Evolver.” The track will be available via Sweat it Out!
